In Bergasse 19 street in Vienna Sigmund Freud lived and worked for 47 years, before escaping from the Nazis in 1938. Visit the renovated museum dedicated to the father of psychoanalysis! Visit Freud’s former apartment and surgery. Look at the original documents, photos and private objects. See the private rooms of the Freud family, including the first "practice" office on the upper ground floor. Explore various facets of Freud’s life and work: Freud as father, translator, neurologist, cocaine user, traveler, refugee, and letter writer, for example.
